Dr. Candace D. Hinote
Dr. Candace Hinote is a native Memphian who returned to Memphis for her residency at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center after completing a BA in Chemistry at the University of South Florida, a Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology at New York Medical College and received her Medical Degree graduating with Honors from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She received the Award of Excellence in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and the Award for Outstanding Research Paper from the Department of OBGYN at UTHSC.
Dr. Hinote’s passion for the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology stems from her ability to address a range of health issues beginning in adolescence and continuing as women grow their families and later transition through menopause. She finds managing both low risk and high risk pregnancies rewarding because the frequency of the visits allows her to get to know each of her patients and better tailor care to their specific needs. She also has a passion for minimally invasive surgical techniques including Robotic hysterectomy and endometrial ablations. She finds it empowering to be able to offer women health solutions with minimal disturbance to their daily lives.
When not in the office, Dr. Hinote enjoys running, cheering for the Memphis Grizzlies and spending time with her husband and three kids. She can often be found on a soccer field or at a basketball game cheering on her children.
