Bleeding in the First Trimester
- Spotting after intercourse, vaginal exam or vaginal ultrasound is common and can be monitored as long as it’s not getting heavier.
- Bleeding with cramping can be a warning sign of miscarriage, call the office.
- If you have any bleeding or spotting and you know your blood type is Rh negative, please call the office. You may require a shot.
- If you are pregnant and bleeding, regardless of the amount, please feel free to call our nurse line for further assistance.
